“Win an iPad™” Contest Rules
1. CONTEST PERIOD
The contest period begins on March 15, 2017, at 9 a.m. and it ends on June 28, 2017, at 6 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Saving Time) (“Entry deadline”).
2. PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS
(a) Participants must fill out the online entry coupon available at the following URL: replicom.ca
(b) No purchase necessary.
(c) Participation restrictions: One (1) entry per person and per email. Each entry coupon completed and submitted prior to entry deadline constitutes one (1) entry.
(a) The Contest is open to residents of Québec aged 18 years or over.
(b) Réplicom employees, managers, and administrators, and persons domiciled with them, cannot take part in the Contest.
(c) Réplicom may demand a proof of identity or eligibility for the Contest at any time. Participants who are not able to provide such proof may be disqualified. All personal and other information provided for the purposes of the contest must be true, complete, and accurate, and in no way misleading. Réplicom reserves the right to disqualify, at its sole discretion, participants who, at any stage, provide false, inaccurate, or misleading personal or other information.
4. DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIZE
(a) Participants have a chance to win one (1) iPadTM mini 2.
Total value of prize: $329.00.
(b) Winner is to assume any additional costs that are not explicitly included in the prizes under these rules.
(c) No financial compensation may be sought, or will be offered, if the real value of prizes is lower than the total value indicated in these Rules. Réplicom reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to substitute the prize for another prize, of equal or greater value if, for any reason, the announced prize is not available in whole or in part.
(d) Except as expressly provided herein, Contest prizes are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.
(a) On June 29, 2017, from 9 a.m., the draw will take place at Réplicom’s head office located at 9000 Metropolitan Blvd. East, Anjou, Québec. The prize will be attributed through random draw among entry coupons. One (1) participant will be selected.
(b) In order to be declared winner, the participant may be required to answer correctly and in the prescribed time limit, a mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other assistance, fully comply with contest regulations.
(c) The chosen participant may be required to provide proof of identity upon claiming his/her prize, or in other contest-related contexts, in order to facilitate the accurate identification of winner.
(d) If a selected participant does not meet the conditions herein, or refuses or gives up the prize, Réplicom reserves the right to cancel the prize, at its absolute discretion, to choose a different participant among the other eligible entry coupons based on the above-described process, or to give the prize to the charity of its choice.
6. LIABILITY RELEASE/CONSENT FOR ADVERTISING
When accepting a prize in the context of the contest, the winner must comply with the Contest rules; recognize that the prize is not transferable (except as set out herein and at Réplicom’s absolute discretion) and that it must be accepted as is, unless otherwise specified; agree that his or her name, place of residence, participation bulletin, voice, statements, photographs, and any other representation may be used by Réplicom, or its publicity and advertisement agencies, for advertising or for information purposes, as concerns this Contest or the prize associated with it, without compensation or prior notice; and exempt Réplicom and its publicity and advertising agencies, administrators, managers, employees, and authorized representatives (collectively referred to as the “Releasees”) from any responsibility in regards to the contest or the awarding or use of any prize in the context of the Contest.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Releasees will assume no liability and all participants release the Releasees of all claims or legal action, damages, demands, or obligations of any nature related to the participation or to an attempt to participate in this Contest and to prizes, in particular as regards the administration of the Contest, the selection and confirmation of the winner, as well as the planning, attribution, and utilization of a prize.
8. PRIVACY PROTECTION
By participating in the contest, each entrant consents to the collection, use, and release of his or her personal information for the purposes and in the manner described herein. All information provided by entrants is collected by Réplicom and is subject to its confidentiality policy.
Participants may be offered the option of receiving commercial electronic messages or other information from Réplicom. However, eligibility for the Contest does not depend on entrants’ consenting to receive such messages or information, and the consent thereto will not affect their chances of winning the Contest. They may opt out of the mailing list at any time by following the cancellation directives that can be found at the end of all sent communications.
8. GENERAL INFORMATION
(a) Laws and Regulations: The Contest will be held in accordance with these Rules, which are subject to change without prior notice, or liability of Réplicom towards you. Participants must respect these Rules and will be considered as having received and understood them upon entry. Except as set out herein, the terms and conditions of this Contest are not subject to change or counter-offer. The Contest is subject to the applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.
(b) Cancellation and Modification: Réplicom reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend this Contest in any way, at any time and for any reason. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, if for any reason the Contest cannot unfold as planned, Réplicom reserves the right to terminate or suspend it, or to hold a random draw from all eligible entries previously received.
(c) Conduct: Réplicom reserves the right to disqualify, at its absolute discretion and without notice, participants whom it deems to have violated the Rules of the Contest; to have defrauded or attempted to defraud in relation to entry; to have compromised the implementing of the Contest or any website used for the Contest; to have acted in an unfair or inappropriate manner with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person; or to have attempted to compromise the proper running of the Contest.
(d) Residents of Québec: Any dispute regarding the organization or conduct of a promotional contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any dispute regarding the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of attempting to settle it.
